    Classification and Detection of Specific Language Impairments in Children Based on their Speech Skills

    The ability to use the spoken language is one of the most important characteristics in child development. Speech is difficult to replace in real life, although there are several other options for communication. Inabilities to communicate with speech skills can isolate children from society, especially children with specific language impairments. This research study focused on a specific disorder, known as specific language impairment (SLI); in the Czech language, it is specifically known as developmental dysphasia (DD). One major problem is that this disorder is detected at a relatively late age. Early diagnosis is critical for successful speech therapy in children. The current chapter presents several different approaches to solve this issue, including a simple test for detecting this disorder. One approach involves the use of an original iPad application for detecting SLI based on the number of pronunciation errors in utterances. Teoretická část popisuje systém podnikového vzdělávání, identifikaci vzdělávacích potřeb, plánování, realizaci a hodnocení podnikového vzdělávání. Dále se zabývá i problémem, jak správně vybírat školící firmu. Praktická část analyzuje současný vzdělávací systém ve společnosti TOS Kuřim-OS, a. s. a uvádí možnosti jeho zlepšení.This thesis is focused on a section of personal management concretely on the education and the employee development in companies. The theoretic part describes the system of company education, identification of educational demands, planning, realization and classification of company education. Next it occupies by a problem how to correctly choose the training company. The practical part analyses the contemporary education system in the company TOS Kuřim-OS, a. s. and mentions the possibilities of its improvement.

    Tato práce je zaměřena na oblast lidských zdrojů, konkrétně na optimalizaci a zefektivnění interních personálních procesů ve společnosti IT/Telco, a to pomocí souboru ukazatelů Human Resource Scorecard. Teoretická část definuje termíny, jakými jsou například balanced scorecard, human resource scorecard a benchmarking. Dále popisuje jednotlivé ukazatele a jejich vzorce. Praktická část uvádí výpočty ukazatelů za čtvrtletí let 2008 a 2009, jejich zhodnocení, vývoj a interní benchmarking a navrhuje řešení na zlepšení procesů v dané oblasti.This diploma thesis is focused on a section of human resource management especially on optimization and efficiency improvement of internal human resource processes in IT/Telco Company using Human Resource Scorecard ratio set. The theoretical part clarifies the terms such as balanced scorecard, human resource scorecard and benchmarking. Then the individual metrics and their formulas are described. The practical part states ratio calculations for the quarters of years 2008 and 2009, their evaluation, development and internal benchmarking and suggests solution to process improvement in given area.

    How organizational innovations help managers to improve quality of their work: An empirical study

    The paper identifies the influence of organizational innovations in work of managers by means of empirical research. Four sets were identified in the paper and they present the basis for reviewing the influence of organizational innovations. The set V-1, ... V-i, ... V-n defines types of organizational innovations, the set X-1, ... X-j, ... X-m managerial activities, the set Y-1, ... Y-k, ... Y-o types of changes which can be caused by organizational innovations and the set Z(1), ... Z(l), ... Z(P)( )determines hierarchical levels of management. The goal of the paper is to identify which types of organizational changes cause particular changes at individual level of management and how they influence work of managers at these hierarchical managerial levels. The research was carried out in a selected basic set of companies consisting of Slovak medium sized and large companies performing in the area of industrial production. The basic method which is used is sociological interrogation. We find that the implementation of organizational innovations demonstrable influence managerial work at all levels of management. We identified the most frequently implemented organizational innovations in Slovak medium sized and large companies, innovations with the highest intensity of changes and managerial activities in which was the impact of organizational innovations is mostly seen
